STAND! is a dynamic organization serving the community of Contra Costa County. We employ people committed to making a difference. Intervention Services
Intervention Services provide direct services to our clients and their children through a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, peer counseling and an emergency response team as well as capacity building services to County agencies providing intervention services.

Title: Intervention Services Manager - Transitional Housing

Description: We are seeking a full time Intervention Services Manager to manage the operations and programming of our seven unit transitional housing residential facility, including vocational services as well as planning, organizing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of the residential facility. This position also supervises staff offering domestic violence intervention technical assistance to other collaborators.
Primary Duties and Essential Functions include:
Administrative Management:
1-Oversee client services goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and evaluation plans, contract compliance and reporting
2-Ensure accurate data collection, report preparation and timely submission
Personnel management:
1-Hire, plan professional growth and development, supervise, evaluate, schedule, promote, take corrective action, and foster paid staff and volunteer staff team efforts within the program
2-Work with and schedule volunteers for weekly groups.
3-Coordinate ongoing casework with Transitional Housing Caseworker
4-Train staff in keeping appropriate case files and to ensure client file confidentiality
Fiscal management:
1-Work with the Finance Department on program budgets. Monitor the budget.
2-Assist in grant preparation for funding
Program Development/Evaluation:
1-Implement, improve and maintain policies that address residential rules, safety, confidentiality, and services that address tenant/landlord issues
2-Ensure program is compliant with all funding and certification requirements
3-Improve and maintain systems to serve all members of the community with cultural competence
4-Ensure consistency in service delivery
5-Establish and maintain tracking system of exiting clients to measure success of the program
6-Assist on the crisis line, as needed
Site Management:
1-Coordinate with site operations to address all facility issues including the shelter’s physical space. This includes general electrical, plumbing, landscaping, apartment furnishing, and general storage areas.
2-Ensure timely rent collection and enforcement of tenancy terms
3-Maintain 95% occupancy rate at all times
4-Ensure compliance with housing statues and codes including the Americans with Disabilities Act
5-Work with the Intervention and Shelter Manager to update and coordinate emergency evacuation procedures for all sites (including shelter) in case of fire or other emergency disasters. (fire drills, earth quakes)
Coordination:
1-Assure successful communication and coordination between all STAND! services and participate in agency strategic planning and fund raising.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
1-B.A. in social work, counseling or related field or equivalent experience
2-Expertise providing direct service work including crisis management
3-Minimum of 3 years experience in residential management, and / or case management, in social service setting or similar environment
4-Minimum of 3 years demonstrated success with program and staff supervision
5-Experience building and fostering a staff-team, providing guidance and valuing staff accountability
6-Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients and staff in written and oral form, including strong public speaking skills
7-Commitment to open, active listening communication
8-Excellent organizational, prioritizing and administrative skills
9-Adept at effective management of multiple priorities and interruptions
10-Demonstrated openness to change
11-Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
12-Commitment to maintain site confidentiality
13-Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Word, Excel and customized databases
14-Understanding of the Agency’s mission, and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients in all circumstances
15-Access to a reliable vehicle, valid California driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
16-Employment contingent upon clear fingerprint and criminal history check

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range $47,000 - $49,000 DOE.

Residential Services
Residential Services provide emergency shelter and transitional housing to our clients and their children. Our facilities run a variety of programs for individuals and groups and our staff works to support the clients on a path to self-sufficiency.

Clinical Services
Clinical Services provide treatment services and counseling to survivors of domestic violence and their children in individual and group settings, and group treatment to people who have abused their partners.

Title: Clinical Services Manager - Part Time

Description: We are seeking a Regular, Part Time (20 hours) Clinical Services Manager to be responsible for service delivery, management, supervision, contract administration, and operation of STAND!s Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) and Mentor counseling services.
This position is focused on developing, supervising and delivering services to at-risk children and youth throughout the community in both clinical and community-based settings. For this particular position, a proven track-record of compliance and success in county/state auditing of billing and clinical charts is necessary of the successful candidate.
Essential Duties include:
1-Strengthen the clinic’s capacity to provide services to Early, Periodic, Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) clients and ensure quality in service delivery and documentation
2-Expand opportunities for delivery of TBS and Mentor counseling services
3-Continually monitor program compliance with contract requirements
4-Assist in establishment of program goals and objectives ensuring services are delivered, tracked, reported, and evaluated in compliance with the contracts
5-Regularly review and recommend changes in program services
6-Assist with contract billing with budget development; monitor budget
7-Provide clinical and administrative training for clinical services staff, interns, and trainees
8-Hire, supervise, evaluate, schedule promotion, corrective action of staff and volunteers within the Program
9-Coordinate initial assessment, intake and treatment of clients, oversight of development and implementation of treatment plans for clients, review clients’ case notes.
10-Representation of STAND! in the public venue
11-Participate in strategic planning with regional staff and like managers in other regions assure successful communication and coordination between all programs

Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
1-LMFT, or LCSW license with a minimum of two years clinical supervision experience
2- Three years of staff supervision and progressively responsible non-profit program management experience
3-Experience working in crisis setting with the whole family
4-Ability to work flexible hours
5-Program development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speaking
6-Strong written and oral communication skills
7-Ability to work in a multi cultural, community based organization
8- Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Word, Excel and customized databases
9-Commitment to maintain shelter-site confidentiality
10-Understanding of the Agency’s mission
11-Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients in all circumstances
12-Reliable vehicle, valid California driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
13-Employment contingent upon clear fingerprint and criminal history check

Prevention Services
Prevention Services provide educational outreach to the community through a variety of programs including school-based programs, faith community outreach and broad community awareness programs.

Title: Community Educators

Description:
We are looking for two part-time (20 hours) Community Educators to facilitate violence prevention services in the Contra Costa County education community - reaching youth in middle and high schools, continuation high schools, and juvenile justice programs.
Essential duties include:
1- Facilitate support groups for youth at risk for teen dating violence.
2- Provide workshops for teens, parents, teachers, and school staff in Contra Costa County
3- Provide workshops for residents and staff in juvenile justice and treatment programs
4- Act as a positive role model and mentor for young men and women
5- Assist in training volunteers
6- Compile statistics and documentation and prepare reports as needed.
7- Provide crisis advocacy to teen and adult clients
8- Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1-Bachelors degree in social work or related field or equivalent
2-Demonstrated competence in addressing issues of violence against women and children, including multi-cultural issues
3-Ability to motivate, supervise, work with, and support adult and teen volunteers and to work with diverse community groups in a variety of settings
